This is a heads up for those who are wanting the 650D mesh side panel, like myself, and missed the free shipping promo. Before you order, do yourself a favor and call Corsair to explain your heat issues to them. I thought it was somewhat of a longshot, but they were very receptive and the results were beyond my expectations.

One note worth mentioning is that I dealt with them in a cooperative fashion as a customer who liked the case but had heat issues with my installed components. I simply requested free shipping for the side panel, and received a totally free order instead...the summary from my order earlier today is below.

must say...Corsair has some of the best customer support ive ever dealt with from ANY company be computers or cars or food...ANYTHING...hands down the best....i had all kinds of issues with a new 650D i ordered from NCIX...called Corsair and told them about it...they asked for pictures...i sent them some and they sent me a brand new case to replace the messed up one and never asked for the bad one back...so the messed up one is sitting in a box in my spare room waiting to become mod parts for the new case

Agreed. They came through in similar fashion for an 800D I picked up a while back. The side panel had a deep scratch and I was missing some parts in the accessory kit, and with a phone call, I received a new side panel and a complete accessory kit at no cost. Despite some complaints I've seen about their QA, I've never had an issue when calling in and speaking with them.

Getting the mesh side panel today at no cost was just icing on the cake. Since this was not part of the orginal case, I fully expected to pay for the panel. I just wanted them to extend the free shipping promo given the original cost of the case.

I've got a question: whenevr I plug a harddrive in my hotswap bay, I can hear it spin up (so it gets power), but I cannot get it to show in windows, is there something I'm missing here or is my hotswap bay just broken?µ

edit: the hotswap bay's SATA cable is plugged into one of the SATA2 ports on my motherboard

Unlike a USB drive, an eSATA drive will not show up if you plug it in with Windows running. Your options are to plug it in before starting the system, or rebooting if Windows is already running.

If it still isn't being recognized after a boot cycle, it's most likely an issue with the dock...provided the port it's plugged into isn't disabled in the BIOS.
