Hi, I'm looking to get this case for a future wc build and would like to fit a Black Ice GTX 280 rad on top with fans on the outside. I've read that the hot swap bay has to be removed in order to fit a rad this big. How hard is it to remove the hot swap bay, also does the sliding door stay on once you remove the bay or is there just a big hole in the top of the case?

its 2 prongs to bend down and then u slide it back, takes 5 minutes to carefully remove it, toolless removal tho thumb.gif big hole in the top of the case but u could prolly glue it there if u really wanted it there, I say go with a 240 bay and just put a separate one in the front of the case, the hotswap bay is very nice if you ask me. My 2 cents but hope it helps.

Hope this helps for reference of the removal.

It's the TINY "U" looking Prong to the left you bend down. (one on each side)

Any pics? I've been looking at that and the FC6, mainly like the FC6 because their's no divider line.

A gtx 280 should fit without removing the hot swap bay if you mount the fans inside the top of the case and then the rad below it.
