Oh, and the HDDs are super quiet too, lol.

My front Spectre Pro did the exact same thing. It made a sort of clicking/buzzing sound for about the first week. I was hoping to not to have to RMA it and then all of a sudden it stopped, and its been silent since. I just wish I had cut that stinkin front mesh off before I assembled my pc, the fan would be even quieter.

What I thought were just marks, are actually scratches, don't even know how they got there, could've been my cat though aha, always messing round my room in the night. Anyway, it's starting to look super dated already. Not happy at all! I picked the 650D cause I thought it'd never look dated due to it's minimal design. Boy was I wrong, finger marks don't come out, the brushed aluminium on the front is easily marked, and the HDD bay at the top is starting to not be able to close properly.
My HDD has also started to vibrate the whole machine, wonder if that is on it's way out. Seriously considering getting a new case, and possibly a new hard drive, or SSD.
Just to warn people, if you're the messy sort, and don't clean your case everyday like me, I can't imagine what it'd be like after a few months lol! I'll post pictures up after I've given it another good clean, and used some scratch removal stuff.
Also, little extra, got 2 x Fractal 140mm Fans in the top of the case, and 1 x 120 mm fractal in the back, and an Red LED NZXT Fan in the front (that doesn't fit properly, so it's just hanging there on rubber screws lol), it's pretty damn quiet anyway, can barely hear the fans, but because they're so quiet, my damn HDD seems exceedingly loud and it is annoying me. Thinking of replacing this for the 550D!

I've had mine for about a month now and haven't got any scratches yet. For the fingerprints I just use the no-name blue window cleaner, spray some on a rag and it seems to wipe them off ok. Aluminum is a soft metal, so you have to be careful what you bring in contact with it. If you're having a hard time removing the fingerprints, try using 99% Isopropyl Alcohol, if that doesnt take them out, nothing will.

My hot swap bay is hard to close too. So I just leave it open.

If your case starts to look worn, give it a custom paint job, one with a more durable finish.

Maybe it was because you cleaned it every day? Just saying.

Also, this might be a good time to give your case a fresh look by maybe painting it or applying some of those stickers on it.

EDIT: forgot to mention, my case is 5 months old, and not a single scratch.

You might want to look at possibly clearcoating the case if it is really that bad. Check out some of these as some options.

I use a microfibre cloth to clean the dust and I hoover (technically I use a Dyson, which is even noisier than the H100's fans at full chat biggrin.gif) the dustfilters

can anyone suggest me 120mm fan that I can install 2 for my H50, and 2 on top of the case, it needs to be extremely quite at minimum volt and not so loud at maximum volt and need to move a decent amount of air. my budget is limit so under 15$ each. I currently have a noctua fan and enermax fan for the H50 and 200mm CM on top but I still can here the noise at minimum volt.

I'm not using any of the stock fans. It seems the TY-140's don't like to be mounted in a horizontal intake position...or at least one I tried last night. I'm going to try a different fan tonight. The noise of the 200mm Spectre Pro eventually went away so I'll give it a couple more days before thinking about an RMA or something. thumb.gif

Yep. biggrin.gif After the noise which was pretty subtle to begin with stopped it was a very pleasant tone indeed. Once I get that TY-140 out of the top intake it will be very quiet compared to my last case. Temps so far are about the same. I'm waiting to see if I need a fan in front of the GPU or not. thumb.gif

Since we're all talking about fans... Mine will be here tomorrow but I just realized I ordered 2 120mm's instead of 140mm's for the top redface.gif Is it worth re-ordering 140mm's for quieter/more airflow? What do you guys think?

Hoping my Spectre Pro 200mm doesn't click/buzz... I'll let you guys know!

Hoping my Spectre Pro 200mm doesn't click/buzz... I'll let you guys know!

According to BitFenix's site for the Spectre Pro LED

120mm
Dimensions (mm) 120x120x25mm
Current (A) 0.18A ±10%
Speed (RPM) 1200 RPM ±10%
Air Flow (CFM) 56.22 CFM ±10%
Air Pressure (mmH2O) 1.24 mmH2O
Noise (dB-A) 18.9 dB(A)

140mm
Dimensions (mm) 140x140x25mm
Current (A) 0.25A ±10%
Speed (RPM) 1200 RPM ±10%
Air Flow (CFM) 86.73 CFM ±10%
Air Pressure (mmH2O) 1.38 mmH2O
Noise (dB-A) 22.8 dB(A)

30CFM more airflow with a single 140mm, a bit noisier though too

Edit - I assumed you were using BitFenix fans when you mentioned the Spectre Pro 200. Hopefully the numbers are indicative of other manufacturers 120 and 140mm fans.
