Corsair Obsidian 650D Mid-Tower - Page 261

Yeah I'm going to make them intake. I think I might also cut out the front mesh since I'll have a filter there anyway and I don't want to restrict air flow too much.
Don't think I've posted a new pic since I installed the bitfenix 140's up top... How much better would intake on these be? Currently have them as exhaust.

Extremely happy with this case after replacing the fans.

Do it. It makes a world of difference for noise and cooling. See my post a couple pages back about the tools I used. thumb.gif

Looks good! Intake will promote positive pressure airflow which will definitely help with dust. Temps may or may not improve. For example my Silver Arrow performs better with one top front intake (and top rear blocked off) than two or a single 200mm. I say test a couple different configs and see which is best for your setup. thumb.gif

^Looks great.

Just curious though with the 140s, do they have 120mm mounting holes on them? I have been looking to get two 140s and a 120 but the 120 is back ordered for 5-8 weeks.

The 140mm has both 120 and 140 holes. thumb.gif

hey schwarz, how do you like your bitfenix 200mm fan in the front? i switched out the stock one with the 200x30mm coolermaster megaflow. i feel like it doesnt provide enough air for the case though, and im looking for a decent alternative.

is it fairly quiet? I have also removed the metal mesh from the front intake so i wouldnt have problems with higher rpm fans...
