I think I'll pick it up today, because it looks so ghetto, having the cables come out through the back.

Thanks! Guess that is what happens when you are multi tasking. I fixed the link in the original post.

Ye i know corsair has pretty good support but it really depends quite a lot where you live, i live in Finland and corsair dont have nordic support at all so rma will take ages. What makes it even worse is that i dont have spare cooler atm, not even boxed one frown.gif

Have you tried putting it the other way so the tubes are not over the ram?

Nah havent tried that but i doubt it makes any difference. I did take rad off from the roof and shaked it while running to to see if there is some airbubbles that could cause it but didint make any difference.

They do support it. It's easy to get the RMA - the only pain is sending it off and waiting for a new one. My second one has no noise problems, however, I found that the top portion is a bit loose, but I didn't bother trying to tighten the screws since I didn't want to screw it up. I was just happy that it was quiet.

Where did you get the Spectre Pros? I can't seem to find them in the Netherlands.

Those would look nice I think.

There is also a guy on these forums who does custom sleeve work. Lutro0 is his name. http://www.overclock.net/t/1159606/lutro0-customs-sleeved-extensions-for-sale-the-original-heatshrinkless-extensions/600#post_16990135

I've browsed some of his threads looking at his work, and he does a hell of a job. I don't think any of the companies out there making sleeved cables even come close to his quality.

I bought them from http://specialtech.co.uk/. Very good shop, I highly recommend them.

The only ones that come close in my opinion are the Bitfenix Alchemy ones. I really like them because they have no heatshrink at all.
