So, today, after a hard week of work, I sat down to get some work done on my thesis; seeing how it's due in 2 months, I didn't want to keep everything for the last minute.

When I opened the MS Word file, ideas started emerging in my head how I could make my 650D look better. Sure I'll just do that instead of working on my thesis. After all, I can still do it tomorrow and it's not due for another 2 months. Familiar situation?

I removed the side panel and the first thing I notices was the hideous DVD burner with its silver skin. That was the first thing to go! Black looks so much better.

It's a small mod but it does make a big difference!
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Also, I got a solid side panel and decided to leave the windowed one off for now, until I start modding my case.

Had a crazy idea to make the front fan even quieter, and didn't want to cut the metal mesh...

I cut the original corsair fan and used it's frame as a shroud to move the already quiet Megaflow back 25mm.

DEFINITELY a lot better now...

If I recall correctly, someone here has that very same board, so yes I think it does.

I think any eATX board will fit.

EDIT: found it, look here http://www.overclock.net/t/907643/corsair-obsidian-650d-mid-tower/2800#post_16959293

E-ATX will fit, it's just normal ATX but a little wider.
