Corsair Obsidian 650D Mid-Tower - Page 306

I velcro'd my SSD to the top of the hdd cage and it doesnt move around at all.

This is the nicest cut-out that I've seen to date. (post #502) http://www.overclock.net/t/907643/corsair-obsidian-650d-mid-tower/500

I use the Corsair fan controller on my front, top, and rear fans and I have no complaints with it.

Have fun with your new case.

mine was cut "somewhere inbetween" on your photo, with an angle grinder, and looks tidy, but you never see it anyway.

Then I guess it's "somewhere in-between" with a little clean-up afterwards. Thanks for sharing your experiences. I'm just a little nervous cutting up a new case. Just hoping to not screw it up too badly on the one and only shot.

You dont only have one shot, make your first cut round just inside the lip then take off any excess, i dont know what tools you have with your dremel, like i said i used a 4.5" angle grinder then used this flap wheel to clean up the edges

Take your time... patience is the key. and FYI it will make a mess so you might want to make sure nothing is mounted and do it outside or in a workshop/garage.

FAILED... but this nearly worked, found some clips for my top mesh, but because of the lip down the sides of the drive bays you cant push the mesh in to release it, i dont want to remove those lips, never know if i'll need those bays. small velcro pads instead? any other ideas welcome.
