Ah? Ok, learned something new. On the Asus-Homepage it says:

Form Factor Extended ATX Form Factor
12 inch x 10.6 inch 30.5 cm x 26.9 cm )

@WC_EEND:

I don't like big heatsinks, either. But I had a faulty H60 before, so I'm a bit worried.

It's awesome! Never had a board quite like this.

After fearing I would break my first Intel CPU due to the force needed to fix it in the socket, I put my RAM in and connected my SSD ... and it worked. All of it. No bluescreens, nothing. Even my Crosshair IV wasn't that good.

Now if I could set my mind to a decent cooler, I could push the CPU a little and see, how it handles.

But so far ... I'd give an 11 out of 10 thumb.gif

Wait, what? What CPU other than socket 1155 did you try to force in there?

My Phenom II 1090T biggrin.gif

Nah, I wasn't familiar with Intel-CPU's so I was a bit concerned, that I needed to apply a bit of pressure, to lock the CPU in place with that lever ^^

I thought the same thing when I put my i7-2600k in my P67 Sabertooth. When I heard the kind-of slight grinding/scraping/crunching I thought I was mutilating my CPU. tongue.gif

lol biggrin.gif

Well, my AMD CPU was just easily locked in place. No pressure, nothing. So I was a bit concerned. But after browsing the web a bit I found out, that you need to apply some pressure. Still not feeling good doing that to my poor CPU sozo.gif

But it's still working, so everything is fine :]

I've gone a bit crazy today with fan upgrades and decided to treat myself to 4X Scythe Gentle Typhoon 120mm AP-15's and 1X BitFenix Spectre PRO 200mm with Red LED.

2 Scythe's will be connected to the Corsair H60 Push/Pull Configuration.
Another 2 Scythe's will be connected to the case roof to exhaust air.
The BitFenix will be used as the air intake.

All will be connected to a Lamptron FC5V2.
you didnt want 2x 140mm for the roof?
