Corsair Obsidian 650D Mid-Tower - Page 355

While the top is on fans, I have a dilemma, the 650D I bought came with two 200 mm Megaflow fans. They are silent, red LED fans, however my LED scheme is going to be blue. So red would just look out of place in there. Anybody interested in buying them? I want to get rid of them so I can get blue ones. I'm also going to be putting them up on eBay as well. I'll get some pics here in the next hour, posting this from my iPhone.

Edit: They are brand new and still in the plastic case they came in. One of the plastic cases has a slight crack in the bottom. I assume that's from shipping damage, but as far as I can tell its not a major problem.

hey guys just made an account after being a long time lurker. just purchased a 650D myself after using it for a friends build last week. beautiful case and easy to work with. only wish it came with usb3.0 20pin, nothing an adapter can't fix though.

quick question, will a h100 fit in push/pull config with cougar cf-v12hp fans? mobo is an asus sabertooth z77. thanks guys!

I believe it will. Idk if you follow LinusTechTips/ NCIX but they recently did a build with the sabertooth in the 650d, and it had the h100 with the stock fans and 2 others in push pull.

It will not fit push/pull if mounted in the native screw holes on top if I recall correctly (I know mine won't). However if you disregard those screw holes and mount it forward on the mesh to move it higher from the motherboard's heatsinks, I've seen pics of people doing that with push/pull. Hope that made sense.

And then again it might fit just fine natively. Probably just depends on the RAM and motherboard heatsinks.

Yes really (I have a 560Ti Phantom in my rig as well). To be honest though I think Asus' GPUs look too bulky. Triple slot coolers is overkill in my opinion ofr anything under dual GPU cards. The phantom looks sort of minimalist and stylish, while other cards (not limited to Asus) have a more gamer-oriented look (like 650D vs, say a HAF-X).

yeah the tripple slot option is annoying..but since i have had an asus 580 MATRIX sli combination which has not allowed to install a soundcard i want no more SLi so no problem wink.gif .. today the second noiseblocker multiframe arrived ! and i did build a grapics card holder for the phantom ..now it fits perfectly in right position smile.gif
