Temps are definitely lower than my H100 was by around 6-10 degrees so far. Really glad I did this.
I'll be sure to get some pics soon when I can borrow a camera again!

Out of curiosity, is there any reason you chose an EX240 over an EX280? Does the EX280 even fit?

From what I saw/understood, the dual 140mm rads don't fit without a bit of modding.

280 (dual 140) fit fine if you set the fans up as "pulls", but if you want to "push" through the rad, then yes, the hot swap bay assembly gets in the "way" of the end tanks of the radiator. you can remove the hot swap bay assy, and have a hole... (the door is apart of the completely assembly, _) or modify the hot swap bay and cut out the un-needed portion to make room. i prefer Pulling personally, since there are so little high pressure 140mm fans, plus, as much as i hate the hotswap bay, i'm tryin to not cut the case up. saturday i'll have a few new updates and i'll add pics of the hot swap bay underneath

Hey all, just picked up an H100 to upgrade my CPU cooling. Does anyone else run an H100 with another sort of 120mm closed loop rad in their 650D? I am looking to run the H100 up top as exhaust, but trying to figure out if I should leave my 120mm GPU cooler in it's current position or move it to where my H70 currently is with the H100 installed....

So I can either:

1) Install H100 up top with my gt ap-15's (from H70) as push, and keep then Antec Kuhler in it's same spot, and move the current ap-14 case fans to one in exahust rear, and one on the Antec Kuhler to replace the stock corsair fan.

2) Install H100 up top with my gt ap-15's (from H70) as push, and then move the Antec Kuhler to the rear exhaust where my H70 currently is. I would then try with push/pull ap-14's, but if it doesn't fit then I would run just push or pull.

Keep in mind I have a 120mm fan intake in my HDD bay with a mod, so there will be some air flowing to the H100/rear exhaust.

Any input is helpful, thanks!

Well if i understand your question correctly, your trying to run your h70 WITH your h100, and no you cannot because they are seprate closed loops. Both u.it yave their own cpu blocks, pump, hoses and rads as an assembly, now, if you wanted to modify the unit thar's fune, but you might as well get a 240/280 rad and hoses to put it together, BUT, i don't know if the h70 can/cannot efficiency push though both radiators. I'm sure the h100 pump can. But for that, build a custom loop to begin with. It's wasted money to buy a h100 to just cut it open.
If i didn't understand your question i apologize.

He has a GPU cooler, seen above his hard drive case.

I'd move the GPU cooler to the rear exhaust and have it be an intake, and have the H100 be an exhaust. Air would come in the back and front, exhausted out the top. Pretty much exactly how I have my setup except I'm all air cooled.

Hi there!

After a hard battle between de 500R, 600T SE and the 550D, I think the 650D is going to be my next case. Before purchasing it, I have some final questions, hope you can help me smile.gif

1. I plan on fitting a Corsair H100 push/pull like THIS. Is it going to be difficult for a newbie like me? rolleyes.gif I will use the Asus P8Z77 Deluxe as well.

2. I read the 500R fan controller only works with the original fans, does that also happen on the 650D? Will I be able to plug the H100 with the fan controller included on the case?

3. Any particular thing you really don't like about your cases?

Thanks in advance.

1. Looks like it's a really tight fit, but you should be able to make it work, just take your time. Plugging in the CPU power first is probably the way to go.

2. The H100 fans can be plugged into the H100 itself to regulate the speed.

3. Wish there was more room in the back for cable management because my side panel budges just a bit.

Thank you so much! I didnt explain myself quite well, I wonder if I can control the H100 with the fan controller provided with the case?

Sorry if I'm asking dumb questions, I'm a newbie and english its not my native language biggrin.gif

Yes you can, however I wouldn't recommend it as quite a few users here have had their case fan controllers die by using non-stock casefans on them, so I'd recommend either getting a standalone fan controller (something like the Lamptron FC5V2 integrates quite nicely with the case) or plug them in the H100.

Also, should your native language be Dutch or French, feel free to ask me in any of those languages if you need more info with regards to the case.
