checked, double checked, and even triple checked the tubes. the fan clears just fine and dont touch at all. if i increase the fan speed, the rattling gets worse. however, once i shut down my computer and power is cut, the rattling disappears regardless of the fan still spinning at nearly full speed.

Sounds like the fan itself might be defective then, as my stock fan didn't make such a noise, and the sound really does sound like fan blades catching on something.

My front fan whines a bit when you're sat in a certain position, more so without filter. I have fan on lowest..

Definitely going to replace.

Is that everything fitted? If so then mad.gif

Mine looks like a spaghetti mess at the bottom of mine as my PSU cables aren't long enough. I need some extenders.

Mortalis - Really like your paint job. thumb.gif
I should have painted my entire case, instead I chickened out, made a false front and painted that.

How light is that gray? It looks white in the pictures. Would love to see more shots as you progress/finish.

Cheers

It's light grey but not too grey. It looks amazing in life in my opinion but my photo taking skills are horrible. I just ordered a 7950 and I should be done fairly soon. I still need to sleeve my psu(I have been lazy). I plan on adding some finishing touches like a cover for the 5.25 bays and other little touches after. I also want to take good pictures, I might ask a friend who has a better camera, not sure yet, obviously when the build is done. I really love how the build looks

Inquired about my rattling fan and Corsair is sending me a new one. Awesome customer service!
