What GPUs? You can power 2 GTX 660ti's off a 650 watt, 2 670's or 2 680's off a good 750 watt PSU...

No heatsink fan??? Love the build though.

No fan in the back, small fan for front intake, no fan on the CPU cooler, I think I I am guessing he is going for a silent build.

Or he just took a photo before placing the fans.

680's or the next gen 700's come out. wasnt planning to buy them yet and i was only going to do a slight OC to get to 4.8GHz on the 3770k.

I would suggest to make it safer for yourself going with a good 850 watt PSU, just so you have enough room to play with. Make sure its a 80plus certified at least silver or a good gold one.

Hope that helps. biggrin.gif Good luck mate

So you are doing quad-sli? Seriously...even 850 watt is over kill for two 680's with everything overclocked. A 650/750 watt is good for Sli. 850 watt is good for 3 way SLI, getting a 1050 watt for two GPUs will just be a waste of money and power. All you are going to be doing is running your system less efficiently.

See what our old PSU guru even stated: http://www.overclock.net/t/1232664/my-gtx680-psu-wattage-recommendations
post #3850 of 4826
no but future water cooling and add-ons that i want to be ready for when i go towards that. a 200w buffer that puts a 30$ difference in PSU price. ill just pay that and get the higher watts, its not that less efficient since its already a 80+gold.
