Added a 120mm fan in the drivebay and it fits.

Reading through this thread (well... the last few pages) has convinced to get a 650D over a HAF922.

I was set on HAF922 for a long time, and now that I'm less than a week away from building my computer, the store I was gonna get the case at is all out. So I looked for alternatives and found the 650D.

There's about an $80 difference, but I think it's worth it. And I saved a ton on car insurance by... I mean on getting my i7 2600k and my power supply so I think I can justify spending more on the case.

I see the Antec 5.25" metal bay covers, but did you mount the fan with an adapter? I have been considering this mod, but I don't know if I want to pay for an adapter.

Any other case got nothing on the 650D, in my opinion, the 650D is absolute perfection, it has so many options that you can benefit from.

Thought I for sure found the case I wanted - did NOT expect it to be $210 shipped from the cheapest most reliable computer website.

I guess I'll have to stick with the $139 Lian Li.

I'm jealous though!

This case is absolute perfection. Only gripe I have with is the front fan is really loud and I cant find a 200x25mm fan to save my life at this point. Almost all 200mm fans are 30mm thick frown.gif If i replace it i think itll cut the noise from the computer in half.

Agreed. I wish there was a customizable configuration for 2x120mm, or a little more space to fit 200x30mm. I don't want to have to move my HDD bay next to the PSU.

You can always go for a 600T. It's $50 less but does not come with a side window. It has all the other features of the 650D on the inside with more room on the top for fans and such. At least look into it before you make your decision. Check the Corsair Graphite club here. For $20 more you can get the white 600T SE that comes with a side window and a mesh insert for side fans.

If you cut the "curl" off of the front drive cages you can mount a 30mm wide 200mm fan. I believe it uses the same basic fans as the 600T does, and I have installed a 200mm NZXT fan in the front of my case. Other people have mounted 2 x 120mm in place of the 200mm. Of course, you have to be not afraid of a little modding.

If you guys are looking for great ideas you should visit the Graphite series club. The 600T uses the same chassis as the 650D and there are tons of builds there with mucho ideas.

For example, here's a closeup of my 200mm NZXT fan:

hey thanks, but do you have a picture on what i need to cut off. tongue.gif would i need to drill new holes? I might just add a 200x30 and move the hdd rack to the side mount. Is what im thinking right now. Bought a bunch of cable sleeving stuff. So when I get more time I'm going to sleeve everything and hopefully pretty up my cable management.
