I used just this fan adapter and managed to fit it in.

That came with the case. It's a pity I use a fancontroller otherwise I would've done that too.

Here's a closer pic. In this pic, I had used electrical tape to hide the cut I made. Unfortunately the tape came off on one side and sticks out in the picture so it's hard to see where the curl was:

It's right on the front edge of the cage. If you cut it the way I did, you can line up the top two holes of the fan with grill holes. You can leave out the bottom two screws because once you put the drive cage back in it will hold the bottom of the fan against the grill for you. If you don't mind drilling holes then go for it and you'll get an even better fit than I did.

The 200mm NZXT fan pulls so much air at full speed, if you open the dust cover and very slowly push it toward the case, when it's about an inch away the air pressure will grab it and pull it closed. (not locked-closed).

Found a pic of the top screws:

if you have space and if all your hard drives will fit, why not move them to your drive bays at the top? there are adapters that you can buy online. that leaves a big nice space below for a 200mm x 30mm fan. i wanted to do this initially but i dont want to spend money for the adapters.

All the bits I removed, top fan, fan controller, 1 drive bay and all the front panel cables except the buttons and USB2.

Great case, got 15% off from eBuyer with a voucher and no flaws etc, although I took the original fan controller out straight away so don't know if it's a noisy one or not.
Was it easy to remove the original fan controller? I have my own fan controller that I would like to use once I get this case. Also I have 4 R4 120mm fans. Do you guys think it is a good idea to use those instead of the stock fans?

Just empty the 5.25 bays and you can get to it easily, only 2 screws holding it in.

Since my last post i've installed a 200mm red megaflow at the front and ordered 2 140mm Yate Loon red LED fans for the top , ill then put my 2 red 120's in a Lian Li BS-08B PCI cooler box at the bottom of the case.

I've also removed the top Sata bay cables and used them on the DVD drive, which looks quite neat.

And lastly as I usually use a wireless keyboard and mouse I had to have the front flap open for the USB dongles but i've since removed the USB connectors and hidden them in the now empty Sata bay at the top, so now i can use the KB and mouse without it being jumpy and keep the front flap and top lid shut.

Yea, I feel the same way about spending money on an adapter. I was checkin out this onebut the price is a bit steep. It would also trigger my OCD and I would have to get another GT ap 13/14 for the adapter. As it stands, my temps are fine as is on all components and it would be purely a splurge.
