It's right on the front edge of the cage. If you cut it the way I did, you can line up the top two holes of the fan with grill holes. You can leave out the bottom two screws because once you put the drive cage back in it will hold the bottom of the fan against the grill for you. If you don't mind drilling holes then go for it and you'll get an even better fit than I did.

The 200mm NZXT fan pulls so much air at full speed, if you open the dust cover and very slowly push it toward the case, when it's about an inch away the air pressure will grab it and pull it closed. (not locked-closed).

Found a pic of the top screws:

Thanks for the help, I think I know what your talking about now. I finally finished sleeving my cables yesterday night ( 10 hours ) and today I finally finished cable management biggrin.gif. I'm starting to run low on funds so I think I can live with stock fans for a few months. But my next upgrade would be 3 120 gentle typhoons for exhaust 2x top 1x front. And a 200mm fan up front. I was able to move my hdd rack to the left and it opens up the 200mm fan spot for any size now I think. And I need some suggestions on what fan controllers match well with this 650D. 1-2 5.25 slots lcd or no lcd doesn't matter as long as it fits in well.

photoqov.jpg

Is done for a while. Fans + fan controller mods coming in a month or so. Then SLI 570s or evga stepup 580 trying to decide biggrin.gif.

I am now also a proud owner of a 650D. Picked it up this morning, and sat around for like 5 minutes after opening, just staring at it.

I'll be putting it all together tomorrow, and I'll try and take some decent pics. It's my first time building a rig from scratch, so I'm hoping I can do a good job of wire management.

Good luck with the build! Lotsa great pics and tips in this thread for good examples. Keep in mind you can take off any of the I/O cords from the front that u won't use to make managing wires easier. It's a wonderful case!

I just got the little brother of the Obsidian series, the 650D. (well, I mean on Friday but thats ok)

Here are some photos of my PC right now, in my new Corsair.
I hope you like it!smile.gif
I am open to suggestions about improvements. The next step is sleeving(What do you think, manual sleeving or sleeved extensions?).

How can I do that? I want to remove the fan controller cables if possible.

Looking for a good adapter for your 5.25" bays? Done, done, and DONE! These snap right into the 650D tool-less 5.25" bays and render your HDD completely silent. Best $10 I ever spent and a must for anybody not running a server out of their 650D!
