yes I am totally agree with you....

I already see a color combination in my head.....Sleeve- vivid violet+ (sleeve titanium grey or grey???), violet fan 120mm, Sleeved LED Kit - White!!!!???

so here is my major doubt what to choose for sleeve (titanium grey or grey)...if I know my GPU will be MSI GTX580 Lightning.....??

Finally got it at CentralComputer for $162 after tax + pick up.
Compared to my Antec 900 v3, it's about the same, 3-4C higher temps on my CPU, but hopefully 2x140mm top fans will help a tiny bit.

Any tips or easy mods? I'm only using 1 HDD cage, and moved it closer to the PSU. The back of the case is definitely hard to close w/ all the cables.

The front intake fan isn't very good. The best replacement would be a CM megaflow. Although it is 30mm thick(the stock is 20mm), but if you move the cage as you say it will fit ok.
Also the back fan hardly pushes any air out of the case.
I am planning on getting 2 aerocool shark 140mm for top, one 120mm for back and one cm megaflow for intake.

I actually replaced the rear exhaust w/ an old Antec 120mm that's around 78CFM, compared to the 'rumored' 60 CFM!

I'm interested in a new front intake but I'm looking at an NZXT 200MM at 166CFM

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835146003

But, I'm worried about the fit of the fan holes, I'm not exactly a surgeon w/ a drill or a dremel. I bought the case due to the bigger size and aesthetic hate to %@# it up...

when i bought the nzxt fan I didn't even know that they didnt match up. I was kind of confused at first then read that nzxt fan was only made for their cases. I was still able to screw in the fan using 2 mesh holes and 1 normal one. It fit fine, the case came with quite a few rubber thingys to stick in holes to stop vibrations i stuck them into the mesh holes after fiddling with it for a bit. Everything worked great. I ended up returning the fan because it really didn't improve my temps by anything, instead it cause a huge increase in noise when the front dust filter was put on. Its a strong fan, but with that filter on its annoyingly loud.

Thanks Vestito! I actually have a 120x38mm fan for CPU, so sound is no deterrent. I'll see if I can handle it, thanks for your input man!

How is the airflow of this case? Can someone puts some numbers here? And would this case be ok for crossfire 6950? On my CM690 the max temps is 61c can I except the same or better with the 650D?

if you spread the cables evenly throughout the back, it should not be a problem. kinda sucks to have a non-modular psu. it looks messy but no one's gonna see it anyway biggrin.gifhttp://www.overclock.net/14885435-post3524.html

Quite a few people have been using the 30mm thick NZXT fan because it pushes a lot of air. However, moving the drive cages or cutting the "curl" off the front of the cages would be required to install any 30mmm fan.

@SmartedPAnda

You can install the NZXT without drilling if you remove the curl from the hdd cages. The top two holes will line up with two of the holes in the case mesh. The HDD cage, if mounted in the forward position with the "curl" removed, will hold the bottom of the fan against the case.

Or, you can use zip ties to mount the fan with no drilling and no "curl" cutting, but you will have to move the drive cage to the rearward position or remove it completely.

If you are serious about installing a 30mm fan, pm me and I will send you all the pics I have of this install (I did it on a 600T which has basically the same interior as the 650D).

No matter what some others say, it will lower your temps by a couple of degrees. You will have to get a good load going and measure the temps properly but you will notice a difference. It's especially good at reducing your video card temp a few degrees. With my system, using two 6970 cards, I was quite happy with the improvement. If you are running two or more video cards you will notice more of an improvement than you would with one video card. If you further remove the upper hdd cage and mount a 120mm fan between the bottom cage and the 5 1/4" top bays you will get up to another FIVE degree drop in video card temps. I have documented this temp change in the 600T thread.

My case is the 600T, which is not quite as good as the 650D for airflow because it has an extra mesh for the air to flow through at the top. Never the less, my case is handling two 6970 cards without any problems at all, and I have seen others in the 600t club running three cards without any complaints.
