Update at last!

Aerocool Sharks!! 2x120mm on megahalems and one for back exhaust, and 2x140mm for upper exhaust(should i use them for intake? can one 120mm handle all this air as exhaust alone?).
Also one CM megaflow for intake and sleeved extensions, 24pin and 2x6pin for vga.
And I moved the hdd cage close to the psu.

I won't have the $$$ to get a different card anytime soon, but definitely want to get that NZXT fan Mergatroid has.
I don't know if this would interest you, but Corsair George provided this little tidbit:

http://www.overclock.net/computer-ca...-club-202.html

Specifically this: "In some instances, turning the front fan into an exhaust and the top and side fans into intakes has dropped temps significantly in the labs." when referring to the radial type heatsink similar to the one your video card uses. I have never tried that type of airflow myself, but I would be curious to see how it worked.

It would be really easy to use a $7 hole cutting attachment for a drill, cut a ~120mm hole in the side panel window, mount a 120mm fan and a grille or dust filter if you need a side fan so badly. If you're only using one video card though, I really doubt you'll need that extra cooling. Still, it could be done and if done well it would look sweet too.

I can't speak for the 650D but the cables for the 600T will unplug. I have removed the ones I'm not using (all the fan controller cables and the firewire cable).

i know i could cut a hole or 2 in there...dont really want to i would like the case to cool on its own without having to alter the side window...but if air cooling is as bad as some say...i may alter it

as for the cables...i appreciate the info...hopefully i can remove the fan controller, firewire and usb 3.0 cables as i wont be using any of them..i may actually turn the 3.0 ports into 2.0 ports as i use between 3 and 4 constantly on my scout...and before anyone says just run the 3.0 cables...its tacky to run pass through cables IMO

I bought a 3.0 card just so I could use the 3.0 port. I have routed my cable so you can't even tell it's there. I have no problem with pass through cables at all, they do what they were designed to do. Plus, USB 3.0 is backward compatible. On top of that, my external USB 3.0 hard drive (SATA II) is getting 100MB/s which kicks the crap out of USB 2.0. On top of that I will be picking up a USB 3.0 FLASH RAM drive that, at least for read speeds, also kicks the crap out of USB 2.0. Hiding a cable so it can't be seen is pretty easy, it's a pity to lose that functionality for no good reason (unless you don't have USB 3.0 on your mobo).

its not about hiding cables or anything like that...my motherboard has the 2 or 4 or 12 3.0 ports on the back...but i have no use for em as i dont own any 3.0 components and dont plan on buying any anytime soon...i know the 3.0 are backwards compatible and i may use them just for that...honestly until i have the case sitting on my desk and i'm getting ready to transplant my parts i dont know what im really going to do with the 3.0 ports

Can the 650D fit the CM Storm Force 200mm at the front without any mods? I know its 30mm instead of 20mm but I heard you can mount the HDD cage further back? Is this true and is it difficult? and does it require any mod?

Thanks for the link. Definitely will consider that as an option and post results here if it yields better temps. I plan on replacing the stock 200mm fan when I get this case, but if it's not too laborious I'll try to get some stock vs. alternative temp comparisons. Still a few months away from being able to afford it.
