BOINC newbie. - Page 2

What in the world is going on?
AQUA is using both CPU's.
DNETC was just using my GPU, but now it's using my CPU.
My temps went from ~47C to ~60C now with the addition of both AQUA and DNETC using my CPU.

go to the dnetc project page and edit the dnetc project settings in your accounts area so that it doesn't use CPUs.

Then in the BOINC client, go to the project tab and click "update" for DNETC and it will stop using your CPU. If you have any DNETC CPU workunits in the task list, just abort them.

Oh wow Aqua would take forever on these e5200 3ghz work PCs, too afraid to OC anymore since I do not have time to stress test it.
Might need another project to pick for them...

It takes 4 hours.... And my CPU is at 4.2Ghz LOL

The current projects out now are small points, its 684 if I remember correctly, so I probably would only be able to finish 1 unit a night. Once they start sending there large work again it would take a week. >.<
On my i7 it would take 8 hours for something like 10k points, so e5200 3ghz would take well you get the idea.

Wonder what other projects I might stick on there.

Yeah. I got that many points for my first work unit. BOINC seems so disorganized... Like I've had to register my email like 5 times for all these projects to join. Like wth.
boinc is the software you use. they really have no affiliation with the groups that choose to use it
