Can you post a link to the comparative benchmarks? I remember reading somewhere that there were issues with voltage adjustment with the D1 revision. I also think that all the retail SB are D2.

So looks like most of you guys are going 2500K, I think I'll most likely be on that wagon as well so sick of terrible single threaded performace from AMD lol. Have loved this cpu, but its time for something a little faster

What do you all feel the advantage of getting a 2600K over a 2500K are?

Getting a 2600k because I've wanted to build a computer for 4 years, but haven't been in the right situation. Now, as a college graduation present to myself, I'm going to build a pretty awesome computer.

I'll probably fold quite a bit for OCN with this rig as soon as I get it together.

thats kinda where im at too. last semester of getting money back from asu, but still dont know if i want to shell out $100 more for HT...

There are only certain apps where the 2600k is ahead, so if it were me I would just save the $100 and put it into something that will make a bigger difference... such as going from a 7200rpm HDD to a SSD.
