need help deciding on a 1156 motherboard

Thread Starter
hey OC im going to build a 1156, now for all you SB fans i will not be buying into it right away, from the DRM features i just dont like that makes me want to go away from intel but im still ganna give it a chance.

so my budget is 200$ (mabe 250$ if there is no board) for a motherboard that can run a icore7/5 and either 2 GTX 460's (sli) or 5770's (crossfire)

the tower im running is a Coolermaster Scout SNiper.

If you can find this in stock somewhere I highly recommend it. It looks great and OCs well. I have the x58 version and love it; I have plenty of pics of it in my build log link in my sig if you want to see it in a case.

EVGA P55 FTW overclocks very well and supports all your graphic needs.
MSI P55-GD80 is also another fantastic option.

I like my FTW alot but I had a hard time deciding between it and a GD80.

I'll add the BIOSTAR TPOWER i55 and the ASUS Maximus III Formula.

I'd highly recommend the ASUS Maximus III Formula. Sure it's expensive but it's loaded with really nice features. It doesn't have SATA 3 or USB 3 but the 3rd x16 slot (running at x4) is fast enough for an add-on card while keeping your GPUs at x8/x8 crossfire or SLI.

If the Maximus III Formula was cheaper when I bought my Sabertooth, I would have gotten that instead.
