Headset & Micro for communication

Thread Starter
I'm searching for a Headset and a Micro, I have read the guide here but I think I'm a special case as I want that them only for communication via teamspeak, no need for music or game sound to go over them for this I want to stay with my Receiver + 5.1 Speaker combo.

So what I'm searching for is a headset/headphones that lets as much as possible thru so I can listen to the game sound without much interference and it also should get the voices of the other players as good as possible over so I can clearly understand them(English is not my native language so I may have trouble anyway to understand them but at least the quality of the sound should definitely not be a problem).
The Micro should be as close as possible to the mouth and maybe somehow "shielded" from the other sound sources(speakers) to get my voice as clear as possible over.
Strange idea, what about a Throat microphone?

Some other points to clear:
How much are you willing to spend?
Limit less

How important is comfort to you?

Will these be used more for gaming, or music? What's the percentage?
Well.. see what I wrote above

Do you absolutely require the microphone to be attached?
No, but micro is needed.

Do you have a proper sound card/DAC?
Creative PCI Express X-Fi Titanium

What kind of music do you listen to?
Only voice communication

Do you prefer open backed, or closed backed headphones?
Open backed

I hope I'm not a too hopeless case with all these requirements.

i have a pair of Audio Technica AD700, incredibly comfortable and have a great sound while gaming.

No idea about mics though, since I don't use any.
