I'm looking at this two mobo right now looks decent, can't figure out if there is any difference between two mobos?

I already seen review of Asus P8P67 its good board but what about gigabyte P67A-UD3P any review on this mobo yet? I also heard ga board using old bios interface.

My 2c.

Neither support SLI, not that I am a fanboy I just like to keep options open.

These are my two favorite MOBO makers.

The ASUS has side connect SATA ports that will not interfere with 2 long GPU's. The Gigabyte SATA ports will interfere with a second GPU if it is long. Obviously only ATI in CF since no SLI.

IMHO spend a few $ more and get a MOBO that could support a second GT470 in your case, who knows right?

This cost a few $ more but has fewer limiting features. If Gigabyte = ud4

I never like dual gpu set up, I usually sale my gpu every year and upgrade to better single slot gpu thats what i've been doing for past six year.
UD4 looks good but if the price was under $160 i might consider it.

Im facing the same decision to.
However, i dont plan to overclock for 2-3 months till i save up for an aftermarket heatsink, so would it just be better to go the Gigabyte path and update it to UIEF later on?

I know neither of them support SLI, but will it support phyiscX?

asus and GB are like red vs green its all prference. I prefer GB because they actually make their own stuff. That being said if I was going SB I would want the new uefi right away so id get asus because like i said they overclock just as good as eachother.

I always liked GB for the dual bios incase of a bad flash and now that they have an all black mobo (finally) I will wait till they have uefi then get my Sb upgrade.

For you tho just get the asus unless you dont care about uefi right away then get the one u like better on looks or price.
