first changes (ever)...laying the groundwork

well, I can no longer stand my case and seeing as how I plan on upgrading gradually over the next 6 months or so, I need a case and ps that can handle some upgrades.

let me know what you think so far. not sure about the case but would like to keep it a nice, sleek, mid tower. I plan on staying mATX anyways.

anyone know if they are coming out with any new mATX mb's? the ones on the egg now have been around for a year or so and dont have support for 6gb/s sata or usb 3.0. just trying to be a little future proof.

thanks

Antec 300 is a solid case, but keep in mind its pretty old and doesn't have the features many new cases today have.

For the price of the corsair 650hx you can get a Antec New Truepower 750w. Both are made by seasonic, but I dont know what future upgrades you have in mind.

I would skip the H50 its a gimmicky average air cooler imo. Just get a standard heatsink like the silver arrow, mega, ven-x, etc...

You might have more luck in the cases forum.

I like the HAF mid-towers .

yea, didnt really know where to put this one since it encompasses a lot of areas.

I didnt know there were many features a case could have that were recent developments. i figured it was an open space with bays and fans....
The HAF 912 isnt bad, nor is the Antec 200.
Im just not looking to spend more than $80 on a case. Any other recommendations?

I dont plan on upgrading much. Was looking at a SSD for programs. single 6870 (probably) and a motherboard. preferably mATX but seeing as how none are out right now with usb 3.0 i think i will wait.

I just want something clean and out of the way. hence the H50 and the modular ps.

any other recommendations are welcome
