Yeah CES 2011 sucks so far! I haven't seen any innovation or creativity....

Sandy Bridge?

MSI Sandy Bridge Laptops!

I'm rather interested to see how the end of the show turns out, but I'm seeing tech that is prototype and stuff that is ready to go, make sure you know what your looking at first! Some stuff people listed above is only prototype, like the gaming laptop...

I'll keep my eyes peeled for more info.

I dont care about the portability of this so its too small for me, but I do want a gaming keyboard like that keyboard, but with all the normal keys a kb has ofc and some extra ones, would be awesome.

Ballmer did reiterate that the next version of Windows (which he didn’t call Windows 8) will run on ARM processors. He noted that Microsoft sold 8 million Kinect sensors in 60 days. (What he didn’t say is that the 8 million was sales to the channel and not consumers. So we don’t really know how many consumers bought.) He noted that Netflix and Hulu soon will be Kinect-enabled on Xbox Live. And he noted that Microsoft will deliver a thinner (and hopefully cheaper) Surface 2.0 platform later this year.
Interestesting Read from ZDnet about what Microsoft didn't say...

Microsoft Shows off Widnows 8 On ARM!!!! This is serious news here!

Quote:
At the press conference — held a few hours before CEO Steve Ballmer will keynote the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) — Microsoft Windows President Steven Sinofsky showed off an early build of Windows 8 runnong on new systems-on-a-chip (SoC) platforms from NVIDIA, Qualcomm and Texas Instruments on ARM. To prove Microsoft isn’t abandonning the x86 architecture with Windows 8, company officials also showed off Windows 8 running on x86 SOC.
Wow!

Oh this is a duzzie!

CES 2011: Maingear, Origin PC add Intel Core i7-2600K CPU overclocked to 5GHz to their gaming desktops

Quote:
Both Maingear and Origin PC have announced that their gaming desktops will feature the new CPU, and both have tweaked it to 5GHz for select systems.

While Maingear is updating its whole desktop lineup to the new Sandy Bridge chips, performance fans will want to look for units that offer the i7-2600K running at that magic 5GHz threshold. The company put the processor through its paces at 4.8GHz, and it provided 37% faster 3D rendering, 36% faster CPU video encoding and 24% overall system performance over the stock 3.4GHz version, so 5GHz will provide even more oomph. Maingear desktops using these latest processors will be available starting on January 9.
Oh Yeah - Jan 9th! COME ON!

Ok, last one, this one has real eye candy! (available in march!)

Source

Quote:
Samsung said it has cooked up a new device—dubbed the Samsung Sliding PC 7 Series available in March—that offers the benefits of a laptop with key features of a tablet. The OS is Windows 7 and the chip is Intel’s Atom Oak Trail. The general idea is to offer a light tablet that includes a sliding keyboard for easy typing. If you’re a content heavy person, this gizmo may just make some sense.

Cheese!

Now that I think about it I think there is one, it was too expensive for me and I honestly wouldn't need it since I never look at my keyboard but if I had money to burn I would get it for the fun of it.

It's not so much the keyboard that has me attracted, it's the sleek design with the touch feature & personally I'm sick of squinting over black keys!

I couldn't disagree with you more, love the color.. (blue is me fav!)

We're feeling a lot of love for AMD's Fusion here at CES 2011. Today, it's Sapphire's turn to show its hand and it's dealing out the Pure White Fusion E350 motherboard.
