EVGA 580 Backplate & EK-FC580 Compatibility?

Regarding the lip of the EVGA backplate, does it interfere with compression fittings? Do rotary compressions clear the height of the backplate? FYI, there are no clearance issues with the EK-FC580 backplate...

You already have the EVGA backplate? IMO, the EK backplate actually looks better.

i have the same setup as you with the evga back and ek block. I had to buy an extender for my normal compressions, but if your rotary already fits it should not be an issue

I actually have two EK-FC580 GTX backplates. I examined the EVGA 580 plate today, the EK plates are noticeably thicker and stronger with a nicer finish as well. Now I know why the EK plates are commanding a 50% premium over the EVGA variant.
