What to do when weird BSOD start to appear

Thread Starter
Hi guys,

I'm trying to piush my i7 950 past 4.5Ghz but I get stopped by weird BSOD, nothing like 0x000101 or 0x000124 but something like 0x00003E or 0x000050 after 1h of LinX.

My question is, what settings would you change in order to get reed of these screens?

Current settings:

LOAD LINE CALLIBRATION -ENABLED
CPU VCORE 1.43125
QPI/VTT 1.415
CPU PLL 1.4v (lowered that as suggested)
PCIE Normal
QPI PLL Normal
IOH CORE NORMAL
DRAM VOLTAGE 1.66v

CPU CLOCK RATIO x23 BCLK 196
INTEL TURBO BOOST DISABLED
C1E,C3,C6,C7,EIST DISABLED

PERFORMANCE ENHANCE EXTREME (tried normal too)

CPU CLOCK DRIVE 800mV
PCIE CLOCK DRIVE 900mv
QPI CLOCK x36
UNCORE x17

Normally the weird BSOD codes refer to needing more vCore, most likely reaching the limits of your overclock.

If more vcore doesn't work, try playing with the VTT and PLL. Both raising and lowering them can have a positive or negative effect.

My OC was actually unstable at 1.4 VTT, but it's rock solid at 1.35v.

I've never pushed it to that frequency or vcore, but tinkering with both is worth a try.
