Hey guys, I just want to ask if I will need a new PSU if I will CF 2 4870 512mb cards

I will be getting a ATI 4870 and Thinking of getting another one to CF.
My current PSU is 600W. is this enough or I will need to get a new psu? THanks!

You should be okay, though it all depends on how much amperage you have on your rails. What PSU do you have exactly?

Your PSU is not a 600W, it's a mediocre 500W with a deceitful label.

What's your budget for a replacement?

as of now I don't have any budget for the replacement but will try to get one if I'll be getting another 4870.

I'm looking at this
OCZ Steathstream 700 Watt since I can get it locally for used.

That OCZ you're looking at will work just fine. Your current power supply is to close to the amperage needed to run 2 4870s. I would save my money and get a good power supply and then upgrade graphics at a later time. Just my personal opinion.
