ASUS P8p67 and Pro

Thread Starter
Hi there ,

I was just wondering and I can't find out for the live of me the difference
between the ASUS P8P67 and P8P67 PRO , what do the PRO board have
more in general ? they differ about 30 bucks ...

Also in the same range there is the LE board and the DELUXE , just wondering
what they offer more for the money and if I need it ?

thank you

Ralph

Still not sure what the PRO board has over the Non-Pro board, as I see it ,
the non-pro does not have the Intel LAN , and only 1 less PCI Express slot , and one or two less e-sata connectivity. Can you confirm that ?

I was under the impression that all ASUS boards have Realtek Giga LAN , so this graph only shows the two high end board to have Intel/Realtek LAN support , can you confirm ?

thank you again

Pro has Intel NIC. Evo/Deluxe have Intel+Realtek while the vanilla P8P67 is only Realtek. Did you even click the link?...

Differences PRO vs DELUXE:

12+2 vs 16+2 Phase design

Integrated MOSFET driver on DELUXE

PRO supports 32GB vs 16GB on the DELUXE (and no I didn't get it wrong)

No front panel USB 3.0 on PRO

PRO uses individual PS/2 for mouse and keyboard, DELUXE uses PS/2 combo

PRO has 6 USB 2.0 ports, DELUXE has 8

PRO & Deluxe has identical SATA ports and PCI slots

PRO does not have LED error display and power and reset buttons

PRO does not have clear CMOS button at the rear

PRO has single gigabit port vs Deluxe which has 2 (1 Intel controlled and other is Realtek controlled)

PRO uses Realtek ALC892, DELUXE uses Realtek ALC889

Obviously you did not. How come I could note all the differences and you couldn't?

Vanilla means ORIGINAL aka P8P67
