Network not working now

Thread Starter
It worked a couple of weeks ago. I unplugged it for a couple of weeks then just plugged it back in the exact same way it was before and now it's not working. I did change my comcast plan and they reset my modem. Does that sound like the problem. I cant tell why it would do this?

There's no telling when it comes to Comcast. Your best bet is to contact support: 1-800-COMCAST (1-800-266-2278).

Why is everyone so negative. Every ISP spends millions of dollars on network operation centers (NOC) to monitor traffic and hardware. If you're line is down I'm sure it's either on your side of the demark (exchange of responsibility normally where it comes into your home or APT building) or they know about it and are working to fix the issue with their hardware.

Resetting modem = lost settings that used to work.

contact Comcast.. if that doesn't work out, and if you can get it in your area...
Do what I did, get
VerizonFiOS
FiOS Speedtest link in sig.

It's not available in my area. I doubt comcast could help me configure my network.
