Can my PSU handle 2x570's?

Thread Starter
Can the PSU in my sig rig handle 2x 570's? I haven't overclocked anything, but was hoping to overclock the cpu to a modest ~3.7-3.8ghz and also the gfx cards a bit. Any help would be awesome!

Unlikely, your CPU will pull around 200 overclocked and your 570s will pull around 225 max load. Add that up and your at your max wattage without accounting for the rest of your system.

One GTX570 may draw 200w. Oced 950 may take up to 200w depending on speed and voltage plus others. You are looking for 620w and a bit more in bench. That Seasonic unit is good and can pull 54a/648w on 12v and it always does than what its specs but I think it is on edge.

Just about. But it would be close.

I just put OPs rig in this power calculator http://www.antec.outervision.com/PSUEngine and it said he needed 648W
So borderline!

I would have put 470s on mine if i didnt just sell it... (i also dont have a i7)

My Q9550 @ 4.0 and a 470 @ like 1.087v was pulling like 420w from the WALL running prime95 & occt gpu at the same time... so i would say yes as long as your not going to be folding your CPU and both GPUs. For normal use and gaming you should be fine.

Dont forget to calculate efficiency in if you read a benchmark or article that is showing power at the wall using a watt meter... you have a 10% margin with that PSU

560s in a month or two would probably be smarter though

Those things are totally useless... and always are overestimating w/ load only power.
