Yeah...I figure that I'll get at least 2 to 3 years from that build (and for only $280 ) and it will give me the flexibility to upgrade to something like a GTX 570 quicker from the ca$h I do not have to spend for the SB upgrade. Now it's time to go buy a new heatsink tomorrow

Why don't you just save your money? I am sure that prices will drop next year. Your computer rig looks solid, and it doesnt need upgrading....

i have to agree completely..i5's a re still performers as we speak..its not yet on the EOL side..plus its running DDR3..so slap that offer and take the 1156 route..saves you alot and performance can be seen/felt from your previous setup..

i5 1156 is pwn. no need to sidegrade and spend more, theyll be almost the same bar a couple of things that people are gonna turn off when they oc.
