Would a highly overclocked 470 ( 850+ core) bottleneck on a Athlon IIX2 at 2.8?

Any graphics card can be bottlenecked by any processor. It depends on the level of CPU-dependency of the test you run (i.e. what game/bench) and what settings you run that test at (higher IQ = less chance of CPU BN).

On less cpu-dependent tests, esp. those that can only really use 1 or 2 cores, the BN on your setup would be minimal. In the opposite scenario, you could see BN's of some significance.

Depends really.. On Vantage my GPU score topped at 20k @ 850mhz when the CPU was at 3.8ghz

On black ops for example i didnt notice anything different between 3.0ghz and 3.8ghz..
