tukUI does look really really nice, but you have to edit cfg files to make changes to it? How hard is that to understand what you are changing?

Its the only thing holding me back really, im kinda nervous about messing up my ui...

To anyone who suggested Tukui... that UI is absolutely amazing! Everything is so well put together and seamless, i actually want to donate the devs lol

i just add a quick question. Are Omen and recount built into this mod or do you still need to run them in the backgroud to have their functionality?

You can donate on their site if you want.

Omen and recount aren't built in to the basic mod, however TukUI has a basic dps and threat meter built in.If you want Omen and recount specifically you will have to code it in yourself. The forum has a couple posts concerning this.

Yea you can make some simple changes in the cfg files, you can always reinstall the mod if anything breaks.

I'm using my own. I think most of the interfaces out there look absolutely terrible. I prefer most simple interfaces.

The only one I ever used was Bartender, with of course the dungeon / raid essential addons (recount, omen, dbm, grid, etc), here's a pic of my bartender interface from a while ago, haven't played in forever...

You can download an in game GUI to configure Tuk's UI from his site. In fact, it's at the bottom of the download page, if you look past the giant DOWNLOAD button.

http://www.tukui.org/v2/tukui/download/

Enjoy!

We all went through that phase, then TukUI came along...

is that where all the interface addon settings are stored? i think thats a good idea to keep around too

the W.TF folder holds all the local settings for your addons

personally i keep the interface folder and the W.TF folder on a USB Drive just to make sure I have what I need.

Course you gotta ask your friend or whoever's comp you're using if its ok to load those addons.

I thought you were supposed to click on the icons with your mouse?

In all seriousness, when I played I used Bartender and bound all keys to Holy Light as a Healadin and rolled my face to victory.
