I tried various configurations, and the best configuration for coolest CPU temps were:

Front fan intake
Installed 3x 120mm CM R4s at top as intake
Turned the side fan as exhaust
Kept the rear fan as exhaust

Having 2x 460s in SLI, the side fan as exhaust kept the hot air from the GPU from rising to the top, affecting CPU temp increase.

Having the extra 120mm GPU intake fan behind the HDD cage is plenty of cool air to keep the GPU temps low, much lower than the Antec 1200 even with the side fan as intake.

1. If you look at the manual that came with the HAF X, it will have a how-to to take the top off. If you don't have the manual, there are 6 tabs up top that require you to take off both side panels to get to. Once you have found the tabs, just press them and it will release very easily.

2. I frankly like having the two 200mm fans as exhaust up top simply to pull all the hot air out from my cpu since its heat sink pulls air into the cpu as opposed to across the HS itself.

3. For the Rad, I'd take out the top fans entirely and put the 360 up there to make it an internal WC setup, but thats personal preference.
