Thread Starter
Alright I used the search and found someone with the exact same problem, however it does not seam like anyone found a solution in that thread.

One person took out two ram sticks and said that he reset the ram, I only have two to begin with. Will it boot if I take out one or all of my ram?

This started to happen when I tried to overclock my Q6600, everything is now at stock but the problem persists. I get it to boot buy reseting the bios using the reset cmos button on the back, when I reset it the computer boots but only if I hit F2 to load default values. If I hit F1 and mess with the settings it will shot off and try to reboot again and fail.

This thread has a problem exaclty the same by the sounds of it, however no one has given a solid solution.

Any ideas?

EDIT: I have also never flashed my bios, I don't know how that changes things. I don't thing I have had this problem before.
