I am thinking the same thing, but I do not have Frys near me so not sure how big/small they are.
The one by me here on the NW side of Houston is about the size of a Walmart SUPERCENTER. I will have to make a trip over there tomorrow for some thermal paste as I did not get it with my egg order.

actually he showed me his inventory... they only had 5 i7 2600K's but anyways, I can wait on getting it till there are more available. I'm in no hurry to get one but it would have been cool to see if i could get it today. I bought a H50 at BestBuy just for it.

lol no way.. he probably lied or just had no clue

i doubt anyone needs to camp for a sandy bridge, there will be plenty of stock, realistically it's a very small % of the general public that actually wants to buy sandy bridge on opening day.. it's not like black friday where there's all kinds of deals for everyone lol

You havent been to the Compusa/Tigerdirect down in Miami then.
I have seen lines when a product was being released at 11:59pm...

Not saying its going to happen for SB, maybe for Bulldozer since its a big thing for AMD.

You know its kind of odd being kinda exicted for someone I know very little about, to hurry up and get home from work so he can get on his computer... LOL

That is the best BIOS I have ever seen.

That is all.

Ah..wow...and I was impressed with the folding my new Xeon X3440 is doing...

Oh well..it's better than my Q6600, and waiting wasn't really an option since my sig CPU, mobo, and ram were my Christmas and Birthday (Dec 27th) gifts for the year.

If you want an old i7 at 4.3, there are plenty around. Just look.
Well most people who fold don't fold at stock. You may be one of the odd one's out there that don't so that's why i referred to it.

I know he has done SMP at 4.3 i don't care about SMP otherwise i would have asked for SMP. If you read my post i said i wanted to see -bigadv at 4.3 which is what i do want to see.

And obviously if you read more, you would see that i already have a older i7. So you need to just look.
