does RAM or HDD matter much for folding? can i just get some cheap 2x2gb ddr3 for it and a 5400rpm?

Ram speed > size

I went with 2x2 kit (4GB) of DDR3 1600, just under $100..

I have never seen fah bigadv use any more than 2GB, usually just a bit less so I think 4GB is the lowest I would go.

You are correct.. No idea why, my P6T did this with 1600 mems too, had to manually adjust in bios to get it running at 1600.

Burning a new Win 7 disk now.. Just sitting in my bios screen, I don't think I got the HSF mount quite right, hitting 50C at idle in bios I hate intel's push pin junk. Going to pull it off and look. Just by looking I think this will take a 1366 cooler, dimensions look the same and I have an H50 doing nothing.. Lets hope it fits, maybe we can overclock this thing tonight yet
