Remounted and it's better at 44C, still warmer than I expected at idle though. Installing Win 7 now.
OP.

The best a GPU can get is 20k (21-22k if on water), so bigadv folding already gave more points.
Now with SB bigadv folding will be even better and gain better PPD.

Price/PPD is going to be hard to determine right now, but I think i7/sb bigadv was fairly good and better considering it was low power consumption.

Sure it was the P8P67? There are variants with a suffix on the end for boards with more features...

I'm guessing they would go here on the other boards

All retails are D2. Some ES actually were D2 as D1 is phased out. D2 also has the override PLL option in BIOs that allows 5GHz+ OCs.

Need an Evo version and up.

They do. The stock cooler is just that bad. The ones used in reviews is the 980x cooler that's going to up the price by $30. I idle at 33-36 @ 1.275v for 4.6GHz and load at 55-60. Subtract about 3-5 degrees for 4.2GHz @ 1.24v.

Well that sucks, as all the reviewers stated that the d2's got beat up by the d1's.
