ram decisions driving me up a wall

So, will be getting a p8p67 deluxe and a 2600k probably on Sunday through the MC deal, but I'm not horribly impressed with their ram selection overall so I'll more than likely be ordering through the egg. Key criteria

1. 8gb (this is a must)
2. would like it to be a 4x2 kit preferred, but if there's a legitimate reason to go 2x4 then I will
3. I want something that looks decent on my board. Preferably not red

Budget is 200 max, but spending less wouldn't be a bad thing

OCZ Gold 1333 $85 + Free Shipping

Now with OCZ I had no problem with them, but some people have a hit or miss with them

Under your 200 range so you can put that extra something toward something else
Plus its not red lol

I know sandy bridge has taken a big step in memory bandwith, so would a higher end kit like dominators or pi's really shine in this situation?
Yes, now those were the 4x2 selection I have found on the egg, If you want here is some 2x4 RAM rated at 2000 MHz

G.Skill Ripjaws $159 + Free Shipping
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231407

Patriot Viper Xtreme $159.99 + Free Shipping
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820220535

Corsair XMS3 $179 + Free Shipping
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145325

Though other series (Dominator) will be able to run at lower timings, it will all depend on what you are doing and how much of an OC you are going to do.

For an extra $30 you can get the Dominators if you want

Corsair Dominator 2000 $232 + Free Shipping

They include an air flow bracket which I think it is pretty neat if you don't have a air/water solution
already. (They also Red though )

I'm in the same situation. So far thinking of going with the Corsair XMS3 for $179.99. Actually, I have amazon prime, so I'll probably wait a little longer to see if they have them in stock for the

and then get free 2-day shipping. Don't forget, students get 1-year of Amazon prime for free!

I'm not too familiar with overclocking ram, what can I expect out of these? 1866 CL8, CL7? 2133 CL8?

would there be any reason not to get THIS kit at all? or any legit reason to go with a different kit?

I was thinking of the ripjaw X's too, but I do not think I will need 8 gb. I mostly game and the wife does some photo editing.

Not sure. I know people generally say quad channel ram will impeed overclocking. Does that still apply with Sandy Bridge? If not, 2GB sticks tend to have better timings for same speed... err, doesn't seem to apply to quad channel kits... I think I'm just going to stick with 4GB sticks.
