MSI 4850 stock fan speed

Thread Starter
I upgraded my gpu from 4670 to 4850. The stock fan seems always at 100%. Is there a tool to control fan speed? Thanks in advance.

have you checked in Catalyst control centre to see what the options are in there for it, I had a problem once with that and once had re-installed it, it worked fine.

Not saying that will definately fix it but it would be worth checking

let me know how you get on, like I said it might not be the same fix but I had that problem.

Dont know why it did it but after checking CCC I realized that the ATI Overdrive was greyed out which wasnt right, so removed all the drivers and Control Centre then did it again and it worked.

Let me know how you get on anyways
