Do you think there is any room for improvment?

Thread Starter
my set up right now is a h50 water block and rad. i am not using the h50 pump using a stronger one and got a swiftech res. my cpu idle temp is 37c and with load mid 50c. on the 120mm rad i have push pull fan setup. so my question is do you think i can get my load temps down with a better water block or is that the best it will do?

depending if that 8200 is overclocked or not you could get better temps. that actually sounds pretty good for a H50. you might be able to drop a few degrees with a rasa 240 kit if you want to spend $140, but i doubt besides that you wont get a major improvement without spending 200+

What TIM did you use and which fans?

For a quick temp bonus have you tried some shrouds either side of the rad?

Have a look at the guide in my sig.
You can gut an old fan and using the housing to eliminate the dead spot on the rad to increase the surface area on the rad.
I managed to get a extra 2c drop just by doing that.

Usual configuration is Push fan > shroud > rad > shroud > pull fan. It pushes the overall width of the setup but if you have the space its worth it IMO.

The fans in the pic at Scythe 2000s. Ive replaced them with GT 1850s
