To be honest I don't think anything is wrong. You were expecting a little too much from the hardware you got.

Edit: But I must admit, 20 fps on Bad Company 2 is quite wrong.

10.12 drivers are crap roll back to the 10.10 and things should work fine for you, because I had the same problem with those drivers.

Yeah, but before I upgraded the drivers, I had v10.10 from the cd that was sold with the card and it was not better...

For bfbc2 I happened to have 20 fps but just for 1 or 2 seconds

I beg to differ, my 10.12 works fine. I run a smaller resolution at 1440x900 and my fps range is about 45-110. With a most frequent fps range of around 60-70.

Well you didn't say that...that could just be a NORMAL dip in FPS...

What is your AVERAGE fps in BC2?

That would be normal then, you bought a mid-range card. I would expect mid-range performance, and that is exactly what you are getting.
