ok, so yours is way better than mine.
Do you think my card could be damaged or something?

Wait just a second... it says my clock is 3.6GHZ, I have it set at 3.2GHZ at the moment so.. I don't know how much I should trust my results.

How the hell is my CPU score and Graphics score higher than yours? I mean I do have a slightly more powerful video card but.. the CPU?

Maybe it is the power supply since it's giving you lower performance all-throughout but I highly doubt that because your computer would normally just be shutting off or crashing?

I don't know to be honest with you.

Yep a new PSU is required as said.

I know that this is the spec for the 6870 but it cant be too much over the 6850.

Said on box:

500 Watt or greater power supply with 2x 75W PCI Expess power connectors recommended (600Watt and four(4) 6- pin connectors for AMD CrossFireX technology in dual mode)

I remember making the same mistake with my 4850 and it said 450Watt and I had a 450Watt PSU, so I thought cool I'm good.
Not so, after the 3rd boot a crack and smoke bellowed out. It had blown my PSU and MOBO, only a $90 fix but it's $90 that I didn't have to spend if I had quality parts to begin with.

So when it says 500 Watt or greater "it actually means in a nice way, no cheap or generic PSU's at all" or just go with quality and greater.

No, I don't think so, you're getting 40-60 FPS in BC2, that is normal for a mid-range card.

You are also expected to get drops in your frame rate when you're in the middle of action (your so called "20 FPS for 1-2 seconds)

If you're expecting 90+ FPS go out and buy a new graphics card.

Explain why my Q6600 beats his 955, that makes no sense.

That part I have no clue about, but if you read his posts, he gets DROPS to 20fps in BC2. Not a constant 20fps. He said his average is 40-60, which is normal.

I can see how he's only getting 20-30ish fps in Crysis. The only puzzling thing is Conviction...but even that not so much, that game was a crappy console port.

Honestly, I have not an idea why his vantage score is so low, could be the PSU, could be the MB, could just be an awful processor.

mhmh, maybe it is because I plugged a 4 pin cpu instead of a 8 pin?
That's what I did , I read somewhere that it was ok to do that, but who knows...

Could be the reason or not?

im play bf2 bad company at 4800x1200 with single gigabyte 6850 clocked at 950 core and 1100 memory and get 45fps so your fps may be a little low. this card is great cant wait to get another to go with it.
