low fps in games! -sapphire 6850- - Page 7

Look at this OP:

You said your FPS is 40-60...therefore your in game FPS is not low, there is nothing wrong. This is at your resolution too.

Like I said, I think you're expecting way more out of that card than what your actually going to get.

Your 6850 deserves more than a crappy OCZ 500W

The PSU is not the problem. All you guys saying that the OCZ StealthXtreme 2 500W is bad are very ill-informed. The OCZ StealthXtreme 2 500W is on the list of OCN's recommended power supplies, unless you think Tator Tot does not know what he is talking about.

I ran a 955 BE and 6850 off a Corsair CX400 PSU just fine.

Riou is right, I read on a magazine that my psu is perfectly fine, and it is written 80+ on the box!!
Now I've got a question: Do you think my cpu has a problem according to the results in 3Dmark and also , is this test reliable?
How can I test if it Works well or not? In CPU-Z everything seems OK , and it is working at 3.2 Ghz
plz answer

Did you look at my post on the top of page 7 that sayd the FPS you're getting is perfectly fine? 40-60 is right where that card benches at that resolution in BC2.

Also your low vantage score is probably caused by the fact that your not using the 8 pin connector. As we said earlier, wait until you get another connector and run it again. Then if its still low come back here.

I think your cpu score is fine, my cpu gets around 13XXX.XX at 4ghz with physx off

you are expecting way too much for your GPU, it's a great GPU but don't expect performance of 69XX series or gtx 580 or something.

getting around 40 to 50fps in bc2 is fine, more FPS doesn't mean you'll see your enemies faster/sooner or anything. Just overclock it more and you'll see bit of increase.
