What kind of setup are you running? Music tastes?
you have the krks on amazon.com, and the energys on amazon.ca

I would choose the energys. they do require amplification, so if you don't have a receiver or whatever that would be an additional cost

So, what would a person need to be able to run those Energys from a PC? A receiver, amp, soundcard... ? I'm just starting to wonder how to get the best audio for music from a PC at $600 or under in Canada.

Receiver is enough. If you want better sound quality, then buy a sound card.

^ Thanks you guys. Bookshelves and a receiver may eventually happen. For the moment I ended up going with a pair of A5 Bamboos. As I'm moving into someone else's 1 bedroom apt. the plug-&-play was appealing, plus they look pretty nice. I'm wondering though about their reputation for overheating.
