Yea, that's smart. Announce the crack so Apple can patch up before it's released a MONTH from now.

Apple wins...Crackers=fail.

At least I appreciate their decision to delay the release.

I know these are not related, but payback is a ....

They recently blocked wikileaks.

http://www.npr.org/2010/12/22/132250839/Apple-Blocks-WikiLeaks-App

P.S: I don't like NPR I originally read the article on a socialist news site, but this is just as good.

Does anyone else think Apple has done enough censoring? I mean 24/7 we here about legit apps being denied, not just that but apps that would provide revenue and about how apple is forcing app devs to censor their content to apples requirements.

Damian, you are a serious fool on this, They didn't release the hack or at all let them know what it will exploit, they will be fishing in the dark.

Apple talks about security when their own app store gets haXXor'd within days of opening.

But Kickback, being pretty damn awesome for doing this, isn't going to come soon enough before Apple starts patching it up.

I would be very interested to see how the stock's changed as a result of this mess.

I don't know who'd use a mac "app" store tbh. Even just regular users thing "omg, i need firefox".

They open safari (homepage is usually google anyway) google google. Then google firefox, and download from the first link.

I'll have to give them credit, least they're trying. Hope they don't make it so that you can only install applications that are approved and downloaded from the app store.
