They open safari (homepage is usually google anyway) google google. Then google firefox, and download from the first link.

I'll have to give them credit, least they're trying. Hope they don't make it so that you can only install applications that are approved and downloaded from the app store.
Pretty much everyone will, I believe.

Fast downloads, licensed to all the Macs you own, automatic notification of updates (re-downloads, etc.), and everything in one place. I bought iPhoto for $18 (AU), I can now install that on my other two Macs as well -- that's great value.

At least it's more interesting than the latest CCleaner update.

Huh? Kind of lost me with that statement. Are you misunderstanding what condone means or am I not getting your point? Sorry if I have missed something obvious, but you confused me a little.

Condone means to allow/like/agree, etc. So NOT condoning piracy would be the same as being "against the usage of cracked apps". The guide link is pretty funny though, and is in direct opposition to what they are saying with both comments about not condoning piracy and cracked apps.

That's a good point about paid applications from apple, and microsoft office for mac. But i don't think many people would download free applications that aren't from apple from the app store.

Just out of curiosity, how much is aperture?

That is their goal, and I can see them doing that entirely, because Anti-Trust won't work because Apple can just say "oh, people can just install Windows on their Mac and have alternatives".

I think they have to have their App Store in order to shove their "product" out the door - products that at one time were champions, but are now bloated, gee-gaw ridden crudware filled with garbage and eye candy no one wants. It's like iTunes - it used to be a nice, integrated package for playing you know, tunes - now it simply invades, wanting to be a "cinema experience", bloated, hard to use, disorganized, and loaded with performance robbing garbage that goes a long way towards hiding the various age-old defects with their OS...

Yeah, Apple is going to score large on this turkey - especially when the ISPs impose their caps and throttles, so that these "downloads" are even more costly.

Um, iPhone & iPad does not = Fail...

Look at Apples price tags, they are obvious making computers for the clueless rich or "keeping up with the jones" type of people..

I've met a lot of rich people and quite frankly, most of them are clueless, technologically speaking..

Those that aren't stupid will consult an IT Tech who would then proceed to steer them clear away from apple..

Nevertheless, Apple has never been a fail, they are very focused on who their market is, obvious those with money & more specifically the ignorant ones..

iPhone was huge while the iPad didn't have the success iPhone did, it's definitely a nice product, that's why many companies are trying to copy Apple, feels great to be in the lead I'd say...

I don't think it's a fair statement to call consumers that purchase Apple products "ignorant".

They know how to market a product and get a favorable consumer reaction. It's a personal choice and to call it ignorant is ignorance from someone outside of the industry.
