A7N8X cpu multiplier max 12.5X?

I noticed I can't turn my Asus A7N8X Deluxe rev 1.04 w/ bios version 1008 up past 12.5X

The BIOS has setting all the way up to 17X or more (some shared with half their value) but 12.5X is the max that will actually multiply up to. If I select 13X it drops me down to 6.5X

So I take it the A7N8X is limited to 12.5X?

If you have a locked Athlon XP then you will not see the other Multipliers as an option.
