Water and electronics don't mix. That's why I NEVER went/will go with liquid cooling. I couldn't sleep nights. 4.1GHz is plenty.

WCing requires time and precision. In the end, your patience and effort really does pay off. I can never go back to air cooling.

Dont give up mate, stick to the liquid. Rebuild your loop slowly and carefully

Heh...I never leak test and simply install and go. Bitspower all around, including stop fittings. Good stuff. Though I do keep a towel and an extra pair of rotary compressions in the drawer just in case.

Thats where 1/2 inch barbs with 7/16 tubing comes handy. Dont even need clamps.

Same here. I only completed my very first loop in November and leak tested that one time only. Ive drained and redid my loop at least 5 or 6 times already so I dont bother with the leak testing anymore. But this is because we KNOW without a doubt that our stuff does not leak. Can't recommend this to people who purchase new WC items

Although I did just add a 45 degree BP fitting to my loop for the first time. Its a good idea to leak test when getting new blocks or rad I suppose

I leak tested for 2 days back in July because it was a new loop and the first wc loop I had made. It didn't leak then. 6 months later it is leaking on the 45 degree fittings, although they were TFC and not BP. I had hoped TFC's quality had transferred from radiators to connectors. Clearly not.

Personally I wish I could do without so many connectors but the hose does not bend nicely through some of the angles.

I will leak check for a few hours after a refill (which caught the 2nd leak) and I'd rather spend the extra 2 hours than power up and hope for the best.

I used Koolance compression fittings(20+) for 3 loops, not even a single leak. Never tested for leaking before install. Seems good stuff.

Back when I was buying the kit, Koolance had a bad rep. TFC had a good one for radiators and BP was the best.

I wanted BP but they weren't available except for stupid prices so I went for TFC. I do not recommend TFC now.
