scubadiver59 is joining us with a GTX680, soon.

So two out of three heavyweight cats are filled. The third being i7-1 where we can fit a SB-e hex. There have been suggestions that we merge the two i7 cats into one and adding another GPU cat, so I'm a bit reluctant to start searching for a new guy.
It's been difficult to recruit competitive CPU-folders in general and perhaps i7 been hit the worst since bigadv
were no longer a valid option for them. GPU's are easier to set up (as most people use Windows as their operation system) and be competitive with, plus the fact Stanford has shifted focus to give the GPU side of folding some love.
Hopefully we, the captains, can start talking and come a swift decision about this so we can get recruiting the right people.
What do you guys think about merging the two i7 cats and adding a third (fourth) GPU cat?
I don't see Cat3 and Wildcard changing much from their current state (other than maybe adding more eligible hardware with similar PPD) so the hunt for those can start. If you spot a folder with the right hardware don't hesitate to PM me or them.
From the rules:
Team Competition Hardware Eligibility (Click to show)
i7 & i7-2
• 3930k/3960x are now eligible, SMP ONLY
• One Hexacore per team, either Gulftown or SB-E
• If there is 3930k/3960x on a team, the eligible hardware for the other i7 category is 3770k/2700k/2600k, or 3820.
• No Hexacore = any combination of 4 core/8 thread i7
• i7 3820 is treated like a 2700k/2600k
Any one of the following:
• i5 2500k
• X6 Phenom
• AMD FX Series
• Bloomfield CPU (i7 920-960)
• i5 3570k
Any Fermi or Kepler GPU not listed in Wildcard below.
Any AMD 5/6/7 series GPU.
Any one of the following:
• GTS 450
• Quad core CPU (excluding the ones listed in Cat3)
• GTX 460SE
• GTX 460
• GTX 465
• GTX 550Ti
• GTX 560 (non-Ti)
*If you have hardware that gets 10-16k PPD but isn't listed in Wildcard, please PM me to discuss an exception being made

If I get time I'll throw a vm on it and gain a few more k ppd
Go a head and start it up, I would appreciate it while I try to find a good replacement.
Nice! Does a 120 rad cool it properly?
Here's a shot of my TC gear:
Hopefully scuba and the coming members will water cool their rigs too.
